  This Spar was very abruptly ‘taken over’ in the past week or so. Suddenly most of the stock was gone and the staff were obviously either in the dark about was going on or told not to tell customers. I went in today and there appeared to a completely new group of staff and in the process of a store refit. Although a refit was much needed and the staff were friendly, I was gobsmacked at the prices they were charging (even taking account of it being a convenience store). I’m not normally one to complain about this but it was just so ridiculous so I won’t be going back. I’m also concerned about what’s happening with the previous staff, have they all been let go?

  Mostly visit at night when local stores are closed, the staff are okay not very chatty but not rude, always stuff in stock and open 24/7. Free Cash machine inside that i use often when i go in and always as cash which is convenient. Isles easy to get down. Beggars do tend to sit bang outside and ask for money when going in AND coming out.
